Vuhledar: much more than a battle

The town of Vuhkedar has witnessed some of the bloodiest actions of the Ukrainian war, especially after successive Russian attempts to take it from the south, trying to break defenses that benefited from the particular orography of the city and the existence of buildings of a certain height. However, Vuhledar is much more than a small mining town, because due to its position it is the ideal springboard through which to project itself throughout the Southern Front of Ukraine, something that Russians and Ukrainians try to take advantage of in their favor and that heralds new fighting in the near future.
