In the coming years a new class of ocean surveillance vessels will join the ranks of the US Navy. Known for the moment as T-AGOS(X), this project with a strange silhouette will be the most modern in a long saga of vessels dedicated to obtaining acoustic information from the underwater environment, thanks to its complex passive and active sonars. He won't be the only one; Both Japan and China have been working on similar projects for some time, convinced that submarine warfare will continue to gain relevance in the coming years, hence the increase in the number of MPA aircraft and ASW means in general. Media that need this type of vessels to get the most out of their equipment, as we will see.
