Thanks to the modernization of the CH-47D Chinook in service with the FAMET to the CH-47 "Foxtrot" Block 1 standard, the Army will have heavy helicopters for at least two more decades. The updated devices will be delivered between 2021 and 2024 and will represent a notable technological leap compared to the current "Delta". The modular construction, the digitalization and integration of systems and the implementation of various equipment as required by Spain will allow it to increase its capabilities and obtain greater performance from these fabulous aircraft. Throughout the next lines we explain in great detail what these changes consist of and what we can expect from the new devices, once they enter service with our FAS.
