The relationship between Turks and Greeks is not going through the best of times. This week we have seen how the Turkish Navy has challenged some of its allies, such as France and Greece, who were carrying out maneuvers in waters near Cyprus. The situation has become increasingly tense, as the Turks have a ship carrying out surveys in Cypriot waters and do not recognize the territorial waters and exclusive economic zone of the thousand Greek islands that surround their coasts.
