Borrell "declares war" on Russia

In recent hours, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, as well as Vice-President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell, has had to face numerous criticisms, especially from European parliamentarians, as a result of his trip to Russia last week. The visit, which has not exactly improved relations between the EU and Russia, has resulted in the expulsion of three European diplomats by Moscow and an increase in tensions. Far from being a specific mistake by Borrell, the inability to deal with our neighbor has a lot to do with the lack of interest in understanding Russia itself, as well as its interests and insecurities.
