Arrow-type projectiles, also known as kinetic penetrators or “KE” for their acronym in English, are the most effective ammunition in armored combat. Its penetration capacity lies in a dart made of a very dense material that is launched at very high speed. In general, arrow-type ammunition shares many things with projectiles fired from light weapons, such as rifles or pistols, although its different type of target clearly differentiates anti-material penetrating ammunition and conventional bullets.
