Lukashenko, the Kremlin, the color revolutions and the Belarusian people

The Belarus crisis is forcing Russia to intervene. In the coming days - there are already signs of this - the "little green men", in uniform but without identification, will be seen around the main Belarusian cities. This is because for Russia, maintaining control over this republic is an insurmountable red line. However, unlike in Ukraine or other scenarios, in this case there is no color revolution encouraged by third parties, nor is there the desire of dark powers to get rid of Lukashenko or any of the other theories that the media - especially Russian, Belarusian and similar- drive. Therefore, what Valeri Gerasimov feared so much is not being put into practice and, on the contrary, we are witnessing both Russian blackmail and the Kremlin's doubts about how to approach a potentially explosive situation that could have important internal repercussions.
