Sanctuary of jihadism or battlefield?

In the final days of the evacuation of Afghanistan, an unexpected actor for the general public snuck in: IS-K. For the Western intelligence services it was not so unknown and they warned of the real threat posed by a suicide terrorist attack at the Kabul airport, as would end up happening. The Afghan branch of Daesh is in conflict with the Taliban, while they maintain a long and close relationship with Al-Qaeda. The large blocs of global jihadism confront each other in the Asian country, but with different dynamics than those of the Middle East. All in all, what can we expect from the future of international terrorism in Afghanistan? Sanctuary of jihadism or battlefield of the main terrorist organizations?
