Latin America in Chinese space strategy
The People's Republic of China has become, in the space of a few years, a leading actor in Space, with programs in many cases comparable to those of the United States and much more ambitious than those of Russia or Europe. In order to pursue their ambitions, Beijing knows that they need a network of radar stations on a global scale, as well as regional alliances that will allow them to open new markets in what is expected to be a juicy satellite launch business.
