The Army's tool to win

A new conflict in the heart of Europe has once again awakened the ghosts of war in capital letters. A war where the intensity of the fighting, the attrition and resilience of the armies once again gains an almost forgotten relevance. A war in which the Heavy Forces have regained a role that they had artificially lost to the Light and Medium Forces. In fact, they are far away peacekeeping operations or the now famous fight against terrorism that led the West to wage a series of wars or interventions against dissimilar enemies, called as asymmetric or hybrid conflicts (according to the capacity of the force they faced) and that were classified by the intensity of the operations, being mostly low or medium, but rarely of a high operational tempo; On the contrary, they were based on a long-term, meticulous action with very little initiative in the face of a very volatile enemy.
