In the business world and in practically all management structures, logistics is gaining weight, as it is one of the main factors to increase efficiency and reduce costs. However, the main function of an organization is to provide a service, with cost being a factor to take into account, but not the reason for said structure. In the case of the armed forces, its organization seeks to cover a series of objectives that are more or less known and studied a thousand times, from the most generic one demanded by the constitution (defending the territorial integrity of Spain and the constitutional order) to the missions or functions specific that derive from this or other responsibilities assigned by the executive and/or legislative branch; Among which stands out, as a military organization, the conduct of war operations based on methods such as intelligence, surveillance (conflict prevention) and the proportional and legitimate use of force (combat).
