A pillar still to be built in European defense

The European construction has involved a process similar to that of a large building; After the foundations - the Coal and Steel Community - came the next phase of raising pillars, columns and floors - the different treaties of the European Communities - until the roof and the laurel branch were placed at the top with the Treaty of Lisbon. Now we are in the phase of partitioning the floors, installing electricity and plumbing. Part of this corresponds to the Europe of Defense, which seems to march in these times with a step that, if not firm, is at least cheerful.
