Erdogan's Turkey is very different from that of just two decades ago. In a short space of time it has been involved in nearby conflicts, such as that in Syria. Increasingly, however, its power has been felt in scenarios far from its borders, as is the case in Libya, but also in Qatar or Somalia. To maintain this trend, Ankara must have a capacity to project military power much higher than the current one, which has shown serious limitations. In this article we analyze both the problems that have been detected, as well as the solutions taken by Turkey for the future and their possible effects.
