Anti-submarine warfare from the air

En this second chapter dedicated to the aeronaval domain Let's talk about land-based anti-submarine warfare aircraft. And if there is a segment in naval combat doctrine where land aviation has greater doctrinal prominence, to the point of being a competition outside the Navy, that is anti-submarine combat or ASW, vital for a country like Spain, but perhaps poorly focused for the reasons that we will explain below.
