The defense of Spain, its Exclusive Economic Zones, the archipelagos and the places of sovereignty cannot be conceived without the control of a mixed domain of aeronaval type where not only embarked aviation has a place; also the preferential use of the Air Force in favor of joint action around our maritime borders. After all, Spain is a nation with a maritime vocation for which a large part of its interests and the very notion of national security, not understood as the mere protection of its borders but in a broad strategic sense, derive from its free access Sea.
