The Master Plan for Anti-Aircraft Missiles

A forgotten facet of industrial momentum

Spain participates in the manufacture of a wide variety of missiles for aerial or anti-aircraft use, such as the Iris-T, Meteor and ESSM. Although it has not yet led a complete system equipped with radars, control systems and its own launchers that can evolve locally (software, C2 network) and with the possibility of being exported. The future Missile Master Plan, currently being studied by the DGAM, should address this lack, leaning towards new developments that train us as systemists, which is where the true technological transfer is, as the AEGIS experience demonstrates.
