War drones, that is, unpiloted or remotely piloted vehicles, are here to stay. Already established in many support functions, they are now proposed as a substitute element for traditional weapons systems. Under the paradigm of saving human lives (risk of attrition) and driven by incipient Artificial Intelligence (AI), they threaten to completely replace a large part of the personnel who act on a battlefield.
