Naval arms race in the Eastern Mediterranean

In recent years, a series of factors have come together that have ended up causing an incipient arms race between the countries that occupy the eastern shore of the Mediterranean Sea. This competition, which is in the naval field where it seems to reach its zenith, has led countries like Egypt to equip themselves with modern landing ships, Turkey to multiply its efforts in terms of submarines and build a twin of our BPE, Greece to be interested in the MQ-9 RPAS while acquiring German submarines and Israel to design new corvettes, among other things.
